Trees of Marlay Park
As a graphic designer, especially a poster designer, I lean towards conceptual illustration.
Coming up with an idea and executing it in a simple, minimalistic way is a highly creative and sometimes tiring process –
that’s why, after hours, I like to work on realistic drawings of animals or trees.
Copying nature is for me a very soothing and relaxing activity.
The drawings below were exhibited in April and May 2018 in Marlay Park’s Laurelmere Cottage
which is the head office of Royal Horticultural Society of Ireland.

Is it very different from what you do at work?
