Join zoologist Dr. Fionn Ó Marcaigh on a journey across Ireland, where stunning landscapes set the stage for fascinating stories—each one as remarkable as the seven native corvids that have adapted and thrived in ways many other species haven’t.

Blending personal encounters, scientific insights, and beautifully detailed illustrations by Aga Grandowicz, this book offers a fresh look at these intelligent birds. Whether you’re a seasoned birdwatcher or just curious about nature, you’ll discover what makes them so special.

Meet the rook, jay, hooded crow, jackdaw, chough, magpie, and raven through seven engaging chapters that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for these clever and charismatic creatures.
